Job Opportunity: School Counsellor

We are seeking a qualified School Counsellor to join our team at the Halifax Regional Centre for Education (HRCE). As a School Counsellor, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and personal development of students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and support to students in achieving their academic and personal goals
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote student well-being and success
  • Collaborate with teachers and other education professionals to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive learning environment
  • Support students with diverse needs and backgrounds
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Counselling or a related field
  • Experience working with students in a school setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
