About the Role

The Inside Sales Representative plays a vital role in driving sales and developing new business opportunities for Scotiabank's investment products. As a key member of the sales team, this individual will work closely with wholesalers to build relationships with clients and increase sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the wholesaler in generating sales and developing new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients through daily phone contact
  • Stay up-to-date on company and competitor products, policies, and industry trends
  • Work closely with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of sales experience in the financial services industry
  • Minimum 5+ years of management experience and managing a territory
  • Bachelor's degree in a field such as Commerce, Finance, or Business Administration
  • CSC or IFIC certification; CFP or CIM
  • Bilingual is an asset
