About the Role
The Inside Sales Representative plays a vital role in driving sales and developing new business opportunities for Scotiabank's investment products. As a key member of the sales team, this individual will work closely with wholesalers to build relationships with clients and increase sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the wholesaler in generating sales and developing new business opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with clients through daily phone contact
- Stay up-to-date on company and competitor products, policies, and industry trends
- Work closely with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients
- Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of sales experience in the financial services industry
- Minimum 5+ years of management experience and managing a territory
- Bachelor's degree in a field such as Commerce, Finance, or Business Administration
- CSC or IFIC certification; CFP or CIM
- Bilingual is an asset
