Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Family Physician to join our team at the Brockton and Area Family Health Organization. This role involves providing comprehensive medical care to patients in a variety of settings.

Qualifications
  • Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
  • Experience: Willingness to train new staff.
Work Environment
  • Hybrid work setting including hospital staff positions, rural areas, and private practice.
Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with fellow medical professionals to assess patients' physical and mental health.
  • Prescribe medications and implement treatment plans.
  • Engage in health care policy development and planning.
  • Provide prenatal and postnatal care, including delivery of babies.
  • Advise patients on health-related matters.
  • Supervise healthcare staff and coordinate primary patient care.
  • Deliver acute care management and support to patients and their families.
  • Oversee home care services.
Certifications
  • College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP) is required.
Work Conditions
  • Fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
