Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Examination Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of examinations and assessments for our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review examination applications from students to ensure they meet the required standards and requirements.
  • Work with the Exams Supervisor to establish approved examination schedules for Open Learning courses.
  • Coordinate exam centre activities, including booking centres, assigning invigilators, and ensuring TRU-OL standards are maintained.
  • Prepare and ship examinations to and from exam centres, ensuring timely delivery and security measures.
  • Deliver examinations to TRU-OL Faculty Members.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of exams.
  • Communicate with students to deal with exam issues and general inquiries.
  • Coordinate and set-up virtual exams for Open Learning courses.
  • Investigate and make recommendations about academic integrity concerns related to OL courses examinations and other assessments.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 and a 2-year diploma in Office Administration, Administration Management, Education, or a related area.
  • 2 years of experience in supporting students at a distance, scheduling systems, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and research and negotiation skills.
Working Conditions
  • Sitting at a desk and computer for long periods of time.
  • Contact with staff and customers.
  • General office conditions.
