Framing Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at Black Sparrow Construction Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the framing and installation of wood structures.
Key Responsibilities- Estimating and Planning
Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for framing and installation projects.
Blueprint Reading and InterpretationRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements and ensure accurate execution.
Woodworking and InstallationMeasure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to create precise and durable structures.
Supervision and TeamworkSupervise and coordinate the work of other team members to ensure efficient and safe working practices.
Work Environment and Physical Demands- Work Conditions
Work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments, with frequent handling of heavy loads and materials.
Physical CapabilitiesMeet the physical demands of the role, including handling heavy loads, working in a fast-paced environment, and meeting tight deadlines.
