About the Role

As a Vendor Relationship Specialist, you will cultivate and manage relationships with key vendors, driving strategic initiatives and ensuring mutual success. You'll act as a subject matter expert for our sales team, providing in-depth product knowledge and guidance.

What You'll Do:

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with vendors, fostering collaboration and trust.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to our vendor partners.
  • Collaborate with vendors on strategic initiatives, aligning their offerings with our business goals.
  • Conduct comprehensive vendor training programs and deliver product/program presentations to the sales team.
  • Track and manage vendor pipelines, identifying qualified leads and facilitating deal closure.
  • Coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure timely follow-up and reporting on vendor activities.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies within the vendor landscape.
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous growth in vendor partnerships.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills and technical expertise to address vendor inquiries and challenges.
  • Participate actively in sales team account planning sessions and reviews, providing valuable vendor insights.
  • Seek out industry-specific training opportunities to enhance your knowledge and expertise.

What We're Looking For:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in vendor management or a related field is preferred.
  • A post-secondary degree/diploma in business or a related discipline is preferred; a high school diploma is required.
  • A strong understanding of sales processes and terminology is essential.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for vendor meetings and conferences.
  • Proficiency in basic math, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and local languages are required.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with diverse individuals and promote ideas is crucial.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills are essential for success in this role.
