Job Summary

Radiant Care is seeking a skilled Dietary Aide to join our Food Services team. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing exceptional nutrition support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and maintain a clean and safe dining environment for meal service.
  • Serve meals to residents according to individual dietary needs and preferences.
  • Perform general kitchen duties, including clearing plates and trays, loading and operating the dishwasher, and cleaning pots, pans, and cooking utensils.
  • Prepare snacks for residents according to dietary types and textures.
  • Adhere to established department policies and procedures regarding quality assurance, food safety, and infection control.
  • Store groceries in designated areas, including dry storage rooms, chemical rooms, fridges, and freezers.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and families to provide excellent customer service.
  • Work cooperatively with team members to achieve departmental objectives.

Requirements

  • Completion of the Public Health Units Food Safety Awareness program.
  • Currently enrolled in, or successfully completed, the FSW Certificate.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HACCP.
