About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Team Member to join our team at SPICE BAR INDIAN STREET FOOD & BAR. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation

Plan and prepare menus for our daily specials, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.

Food Preparation and Cooking

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including complete meals and individual dishes, to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Kitchen Management

Manage the kitchen inventory, including ordering and stocking of ingredients and supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Team Leadership

Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, kitchen assistants, and other support staff, to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.

Customer Service

Provide excellent customer service, including taking orders, serving food, and responding to customer complaints and feedback.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a kitchen environment

Language

Fluent in English
