We are seeking a Junior Environmental Scientist/Engineer to enhance our team.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct Phase I to Phase III Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs); Organize and execute field activities, including sampling of groundwater, soil, soil vapor, sediment, and surface water; Oversee excavation and drilling operations; Implement and uphold health and safety protocols on job sites; Supervise site personnel and subcontractors; Engage with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies; Coordinate project tasks and manage project oversight, fieldwork implementation, and reporting to the project team; Assist in report writing and proposal preparation for regulatory submissions; Support Project Managers in various environmental and industrial initiatives.Required Qualifications and Skills
Degree in Civil or Environmental Disciplines, preferably in an Environmental-related field. 0-2 years of relevant experience. Familiarity with Federal properties and/or knowledge of the FCSAP process is advantageous. Ability to thrive in a dynamic consulting environment, managing multiple projects, adhering to strict deadlines, and traveling as necessary. Strong technical writing capabilities. Bilingual skills are considered an asset. Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle. Self-motivated, organized, responsible, resourceful, and punctual. Keen attention to detail with strong analytical and synthesis skills. Availability for flexible hours.
