Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Engineer to join our team as a Project Lead. The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental consulting, project management, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget, while ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage environmental projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.
- Develop and implement project plans, including project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Manage and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve project delivery and outcomes.
Requirements
- University degree in Engineering, Applied Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in environmental consulting, project management, and team leadership.
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Strong technical knowledge of environmental sciences, including contaminant hydrogeology and hazardous materials surveys.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Ability to travel throughout the Atlantic Region, as required.
