Job Title: Elementary School Teacher

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Elementary School Teacher to join our team at Satnam Education Society of British Columbia.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching students in a primary school setting, developing and implementing lesson plans, and assessing student progress. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching and Lesson Planning: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students, ensuring they meet the curriculum requirements.
  • Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting student engagement, motivation, and social development.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and making necessary adjustments to instruction.
  • Communication: Maintain open communication with parents, colleagues, and school administrators, keeping them informed of student progress and any concerns.
  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous teaching experience in a primary school setting, preferably with a focus on elementary education.
  • Certifications: Provincial or Territorial Teaching Certificate.
