This position entails offering direction and support to personnel engaged in diverse assistance functions for all Practice Groups within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide and mentor staff on records management, conflict resolution, client onboarding, digitization, billing, and financial support functions
  • Oversee the initiation, closure, and upkeep of files in Enterprise/Elite
  • Prepare preliminary bills and invoices
  • Supervise invoicing for high-value accounts
  • Ensure completion of tasks within designated timeframes
  • Plan and implement special projects and contracts
  • Assist with the onboarding and offboarding of legal professionals
  • Support the department's accounting software initiatives and projects
  • Evaluate and enhance administrative processes for improved efficiency
  • Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline
  • 3+ years of leadership experience
  • 7-10 years of administrative experience
  • Background in billing or accounting
  • Experience in a financial or professional environment is preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Elite, iManage, Athennian, and PrimaFact is advantageous
