Job Title: Operations Director

Fat Bastard Burrito Co. is seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead our team in achieving operational excellence. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring that our business runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the operations team, ensuring that goals and objectives are met.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the implementation of operational policies and programs, ensuring that they are aligned with the company's overall strategy.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively to ensure that the company's objectives are met, including budgeting and financial management.
  • Representation: Represent the company in negotiations and other official functions, ensuring that the company's interests are represented.
  • Team Management: Manage a team of 5-10 people, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are able to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in operations management
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage a large workload.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Office, MS Access, and database management.
  • Area of Specialization: Operations management
  • Security and Safety: Ability to pass a criminal record check.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a large workload and under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate leadership skills.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees:
  • Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster.
Support for Indigenous People:
  • Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses and organizations.
  • Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
Support for Visible Minorities:
  • Applies hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities.
