We are seeking a reliable and skilled Painter Helper to join our team at Sekhon Painting Ltd. As a Painter Helper, you will assist our experienced painters in various tasks related to painting and decorating.
Responsibilities:- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
- Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted.
- Paint small items and apply touch-ups using paint brushes.
- Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms.
- Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products.
- Fill cavities, joints, and holes with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
- Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound.
- Ability to work at heights and in dusty environments.
- Physical stamina to handle loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Flexibility and reliability to meet tight deadlines.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
Our team works in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work outdoors, at heights, and in dusty conditions. We offer relocation costs covered by the employer and various locations to work from.
Language:The primary language of work is English, and you will be required to communicate effectively with our team.Work Schedule:
Our standard work schedule is 30 to 40 hours per week, and we offer a permanent position.
