Job Title: Construction Project Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Coordinator to join our team at Active Mechanical Services.

Job Summary

The Construction Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating subcontractors' activities, evaluating daily operations, and planning and organizing daily operations. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate subcontractors' activities and ensure timely completion of projects
  • Evaluate daily operations and identify areas for improvement
  • Plan and organize daily operations to meet project deadlines
  • Select trade subcontractors and prepare and submit construction project budget estimates
  • Hire and supervise activities of subcontractors and prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control and operate CADD and other computer software systems
  • Read blueprint, schemas, and drawings and plan and manage budgets
  • Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions and develop and implement quality control programs
  • Develop risk management plans and oversee the analysis of data and information
  • Prepare reports and prepare operations and project estimates, schedules, and reports
  • Liaise, consult, and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates
Requirements
  • More than 20 people supervised
  • Computer and technology knowledge, including Microsoft Visio, SolidWorks software, AutoCAD, and MS Office
  • Construction specialization in industrial, commercial, and institutional projects
  • Area of specialization in project management
