About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Architectural Technologist to join our team at Unionville College: Montessori, Elementary, & Secondary School. As an Architectural Technologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our construction projects and ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development
    • Create three-dimensional (3-D) models with computer-aided design (CAD) software to visualize building designs and identify potential issues.
    • Develop two-dimensional (2-D) drawings and plans to communicate design concepts and specifications to stakeholders.
  • Project Coordination
    • Assist in supervising construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on schedule and within budget.
    • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that projects are completed to the required standards.
  • Technical Support
    • Analyze technical documents and reports to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
    • Provide technical support to construction teams, including estimating costs and materials, and monitoring and inspecting work.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Prepare proposals, presentations, and reports to communicate design concepts and project status to stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure that projects are completed to the required standards.
