About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fishmonger to join our team at Tavora Foods (Mississauga) Inc. as a Retail Specialist. This is a permanent position working 37.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and prepare fish and shellfish for sale
  • Cut fish into steaks and fillets to meet customer demands
  • Prepare special orders for customers, including custom fish displays
  • Maintain equipment and ensure a clean and safe working environment
Work Environment

This role is based in a fast-paced supermarket/grocery store environment, where you will work under pressure to meet customer demands. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a physically demanding role.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Language and Work Term

This role requires fluency in English and is a permanent position.
