We are seeking a highly skilled Sanitation Supervisor to join our team at Kelly Science, Engineering, Technology & Telecom in Mississauga. As a Sanitation Supervisor, you will play a critical role in maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring food safety in our premier food manufacturing company.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and evaluate the effectiveness of sanitation processes to meet all job requirements and ensure compliance with Company and regulatory requirements.
- Train and develop Sanitation Staff in processes and procedures for safety and sanitation.
- Maintain a safe working environment in compliance with MOL requirements for Sanitation throughout the facilities.
- Supervise, coach, and monitor Sanitation Staff in a non-unionized food manufacturing environment.
- Manage pest control programs and waste disposal management programs.
- Ensure compliance with GFSI standards and maintain the highest standards for quality and customer service.
- Experience in the food industry (bakery, meat, poultry, or seafood) and familiarity with Food Safety and related audit requirements.
- Preferred or years of Sanitation Supervisory experience with a local Canadian food processing manufacturer.
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge of Health & Safety and good manufacturing practices, including Food Safety and audit requirements.
- Possess strong organizational and communication skills, troubleshooting abilities, process improvement skills, and mechanical aptitude.
- Have excellent written and communication skills in English (additional languages are an asset).
- Be proficient in Microsoft Applications or equivalent.
