Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the evaluation of mechanical installations and construction initiatives
  • Design tools, molds, jigs, and fixtures
  • Prepare and interpret engineering designs, drawings, and specifications
  • Conduct tests on machines and equipment
  • Support the design and creation of experimental apparatus
  • Install electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components
Certifications
  • Eligibility for certification by a provincial or territorial association
