We currently have openings for a Permanent Construction Design Specialist.

Salary Range: $50,000 - $70,000 / Year

Work Schedule:

- Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities - Construction Design Specialist:

  • Collaborate as a vital member of our Estimating & Design Team.
  • Select optimal materials to fulfill the performance criteria of our proprietary systems.
  • Maintain and update the existing design library in partnership with the Estimating/Design Department.
  • Create new design library components and assemblies for various product lines.
  • Model components and assemblies effectively.
  • Evaluate customer requests for modifications to standard designs.
  • Prepare proposals for our proprietary and non-proprietary product lines.
  • Develop proposal drawings for Project Managers utilizing AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks for client approval.
  • Produce installation-ready drawings using the same software.
  • Generate Bills of Materials as necessary.
  • Revise drawings as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks.
  • Experience in construction is essential.
  • Able to work independently or as part of multidisciplinary teams.
  • Skilled in addressing and communicating technical design issues with internal stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
  • High degree of personal initiative along with exceptional planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
