Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Coordinator to join our team at Science North. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating various programs and initiatives, ensuring seamless execution and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Planning and Coordination
    • Assist in the development and implementation of program plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
    • Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, catering, and audio-visual equipment.
  • Administrative Support
    • Provide administrative support to program staff, including scheduling, correspondence, and data entry.
    • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Communication and Customer Service
    • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to engage stakeholders and promote programs.
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork
    • Work collaboratively with program staff, volunteers, and external partners to achieve program objectives.
    • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment, fostering open communication and respect.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration, communications, or education.
  • Experience
    • 2 years of experience in program coordination, administration, or a related field.
  • Skills
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.

  • Work Environment
    • Work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with frequent deadlines and changing priorities.

    • Occasional travel may be required for program-related activities.
