Regional Lead Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic Regional Lead to oversee our Grande Prairie Office. This role requires a multitasking individual who can adapt to changing office requirements, managing projects, business development, technical support, and office administration duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee electrical, control, and instrumentation projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely, within-scope, and budget delivery.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors for seamless project execution.
  • Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions to achieve project goals.
  • Act as a technical resource for various projects within Controls & Automation, Electrical, and/or Instrumentation capacities.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior resources.
  • Coordinate technical support for efficient project deliverables.
  • Ensure Quality Assurance/Quality Control checking and guidance within technical expertise.
  • Act as a point of contact for Calgary administration for day-to-day GP office operations.
  • Coordinate vendors and contracts for safe and efficient GP office operations.
  • Provide Health, Safety, and Environment guidance for the office and ensure adherence to related policies and procedures.

Requirements include a degree or diploma from a recognized technical institute in Electrical Engineering/Design, Control Systems Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or comparable industry experience. A minimum of 5 years of related working experience is required, along with demonstrated experience in a Project Management role and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Proven technical competence within Controls/Automation, Electrical, and/or Instrumentation disciplines is essential, backed by solid technical post-secondary training. Experience working independently to organize, plan, coordinate, and manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously is also required.
