About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiology Technologist to join our team at KMH Cardiology Centres Inc. in Markham and North York. As a Cardiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic services to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform stress testing of Nuclear Cardiology patients under the supervision of a physician.
  • Provide accurate and timely ECG tracings, blood pressure, and heart rate readings to physicians.
  • Conduct tests in accordance with CSCT and KMH protocols, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety by using proper positioning techniques and equipment settings.
  • Apply independent judgment and critical thinking to ensure all necessary data is captured during tests.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure examination rooms are properly supplied and equipped.
  • Assist in maintaining equipment and inventory of routine supplies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other KMH staff to provide patient care.
  • Attend team meetings and stay up-to-date with professional development opportunities.
Requirements
  • Completion of a recognized course in ECG.
  • CSCT designation.
  • 1 year of work experience is an asset.
  • CPR certification.
  • Experience with Holter monitor hook-ups, AMBPs, and Loops is an asset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word and Outlook).
  • Experience with EMR systems.
  • ACLS is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated high-quality, compassionate, patient-centered care.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to provide coverage at both locations.
