Job Summary

Wood's Homes is seeking a skilled Youth and Family Counsellor to join our Community Group Care Lethbridge team. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality services to children, youth, and families in a structured setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain a safe and supportive environment that fosters personal and social development for each client.
  • Participate in supervisory meetings, team meetings, and training sessions to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Provide therapeutic support to children, youth, and their families, including case management, intervention strategies, and consultations.
  • Maintain the upkeep of the living space and ensure compliance with licensing requirements.
  • Perform various tasks associated with program functioning, including meal preparation, cleaning, and transportation.
Requirements
  • Diploma or undergraduate degree in Social Sciences, Child and Youth Care, Social Work, Nursing, or related field.
  • Minimum two to four years of experience in a related field.
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certification.
  • Experience working with young people is preferred.
  • Class 5 driver's license and own transportation.
