Occupational Therapist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Lethbridge School Division. The successful candidate will work as part of a dynamic team to address barriers to participation and learning, promoting the success of all children and students from Early Education to grade 12.

The Occupational Therapist will deliver a continuum of support within the division's Response to Instruction and Intervention framework, providing universal strategies to support all students in inclusive classrooms. They will also facilitate, through play, the development of age-appropriate skills, and provide student-specific assessment and therapeutic programming.

The ideal candidate will have a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy or a successful completion of an accredited entry to practice Occupational Therapist program, and be registered or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT). Experience working within an educational setting is preferred.

The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week, and will have some school breaks off. They will be required to provide a police information check, including Vulnerable Sector Check, and a satisfactory Intervention Record Check from South Region Alberta Child and Family Services.

Lethbridge School Division offers a competitive salary range of $67,000 - $92,800 depending on experience, and a diverse benefit plan for you and your family to access.
