Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Associate II to join our team at UPS. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of goods, while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and inspect inbound shipments, verifying accuracy and completeness of goods.
  • Put away products in designated storage areas, adhering to established standards and procedures.
  • Process returns, counting and confirming quantities, and completing necessary paperwork.
  • Obtain and prioritize orders, selecting products from the correct locations and verifying accuracy.
  • Stage and pack products securely, ensuring compliance with client procedures and regulations.
  • Arrange for pick-up of shipments, coordinating with carriers and managing schedules.
  • Operate power equipment, including forklifts, pallet movers, and order pickers, safely and efficiently.
  • Use RF Scanners to electronically scan barcodes and track inventory.
  • Enter inventory data into the warehouse management system, verifying accuracy and performing scheduled processes.
  • Conduct physical inventory and cycle counts, identifying discrepancies and reporting errors.
  • Develop and implement physical inventory plans, monitoring inventory levels and reporting to supervisors.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, resolving issues and communicating with supervisors.
  • Compile daily and monthly client reports, including KPI metrics.
  • Participate in safety initiatives, promoting a culture of safety and well-being among team members.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 6 months of experience driving a forklift.
  • Warehouse experience and knowledge of warehousing terminology and practices.
  • Ability to provide a 5-year employment check.
