The Inventory Lead is a critical position at Laura Canada Inc., responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of inventory within the store. This role plays a vital part in maintaining a positive customer experience and supporting the store's operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • **Receiving and Processing Inventory**: Unpack, scan, and process incoming merchandise, adhering to company standards and ensuring timely placement on the sales floor.
  • **Ship from Store Operations**: Execute daily pick and pack processes to fulfill online orders, maintaining sufficient supplies and adhering to company standards.
  • **Inventory Replenishment**: Maintain accurate stockroom inventory levels using the iPad application and utilize the Stock Replenishment Solution to conduct daily replenishment of sold items.
  • **Markdowns and Pricing**: Periodically adjust ticketed prices for selected merchandise across the store.
  • **Internal Merchandise Transfers**: Prepare stock for transfer to other stores, adhering to company standards.
  • **Receiving and Stock Area Maintenance**: Ensure the receiving and stock areas are well-organized and maintained.
  • **Supporting Operational Activities**: Assist with operational tasks such as cashier duties, POS tasks, steaming, and visual merchandising as needed.
  • **Leading and Guiding Associates**: May be required to lead or guide other associates in stock-related functions.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a retail environment.
  • A sense of urgency and ability to work efficiently.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrates initiative and a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
