Windows Endpoint Deployment Specialist

Job Location: Onsite

Position Overview:

The Windows Endpoint Deployment Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the management and administration of the SCCM/MECM environment. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in desktop engineering or a related field, particularly in supporting large-scale endpoints within a mission-critical enterprise operating environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and manage the SCCM/MECM environment effectively.
  • Develop and maintain standardized Windows images through Desired Configuration Management.
  • Package Windows applications and create task sequences using Windows Installer, MSI, and MSIX.
  • Utilize Microsoft SQL for scripting, queries, and reporting.
  • Exhibit advanced knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Manage Microsoft Updates using SCCM.
  • Design, configure, and manage Active Directory Group Policies.
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and repair desktop and laptop hardware.
  • Resolve complex technical issues efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated competency in Tier 2 Computer Support.
  • Certification in CompTIA A+.
  • Strong understanding of network troubleshooting, including Ethernet and IP configuration.
  • Experience with Lenovo desktops and notebooks.
  • Familiarity with Panasonic ruggedized Toughbooks.

The successful candidate will thrive in a collaborative team environment and possess excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills. Experience in North American job settings is considered advantageous. Candidates are encouraged to highlight additional areas of expertise that could enhance team performance and project success.

Contract Details:

The contract will commence upon award and will be evaluated for potential renewal based on ongoing requirements.
