As a Deli Department Supervisor at Real Canadian Superstore, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and success of our deli department. You'll be responsible for leading a team of associates, driving sales, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations, ensuring adherence to company standards and procedures.
- Sales & Profitability: Develop strategies to maximize sales and profitability within the deli department.
- Team Development: Train and mentor associates on customer service, product knowledge, and merchandising best practices.
- Merchandising Mastery: Ensure merchandise is stocked, displayed attractively, and priced accurately.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with other departments to ensure timely replenishment.
- Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment for both customers and employees.
- Financial Stewardship: Manage departmental expenses effectively and contribute to budget preparation.
- Collaboration & Communication: Communicate regularly with store management and other department managers to ensure alignment with overall store goals.
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
- Proven experience in retail management, ideally within a departmental or specialty store setting.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop associates.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of retail operations, including merchandising, inventory management, and customer service.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
