About the Facility:
Brampton Civic Hospital is a comprehensive community healthcare facility that offers a wide range of specialized services, including critical care, cardiac care, and extensive mental health programs. Since its inception, it has become a vital part of the healthcare landscape, known for its robust labor and delivery services and a busy emergency department.

Role Overview:
The Security Team Lead plays a crucial role in supervising the daily operations and performance of the Security Guards assigned to their shift. This position requires representing both Paladin Security Group and the healthcare facility effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and continuous training to security personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with all security policies and procedures.
  • Verify that all Security Guards complete the required training.
  • Encourage and motivate staff, recommending commendations to supervisors.
  • Facilitate the proper documentation and reporting of incidents.
  • Assist in the scheduling and deployment of security staff.
  • Manage dispatch duties, including incident reporting.
  • Document and investigate security-related incidents and complaints.
  • Communicate any concerns or issues to the Supervisor or Client Service Manager.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of two years of experience in hospital security.
  • At least one year of supervisory or team lead experience.
  • Preferred post-secondary education in Law Enforcement or Security.
  • Familiarity with the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health Act.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven reliability, punctuality, and the ability to handle sensitive situations with tact.

At the time of the interview, candidates must provide proof of completion of the following prerequisites:
  1. Immunization Record
  2. A Valid Ontario Security Guard License
  3. Proficiency in English (both oral and written)
