Compensation: $32.00-40.00/hour depending on experience

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscape Foreman/Forewoman to join our team at Earthscape Ontario. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for supervising, coordinating, and scheduling the day-to-day work activities of our landscape construction team. You will train crew members in skills and methods of landscape installation, plan labor requirements, equipment needs, and material deliveries to ensure timely completion of projects. Additionally, you will maintain and enforce standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization on job sites and in our shop/yard areas.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work activities of a landscape construction crew
  • Train crew members in skills and methods of landscape installation
  • Plan labor requirements, equipment needs, and material deliveries
  • Maintain and enforce standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization on job sites and in our shop/yard areas
  • Coordinate subcontractors and provide oversight on location
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in landscaping construction site work, including concrete, masonry, carpentry, site layout, site grading, and installing and maintaining water features
  • Experience reading and interpreting scaled drawings
  • Leadership skills and ability to engage others in the accomplishment of tasks in an efficient and organized way
  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and clients
  • Comfortable and skilled operating a variety of landscaping machinery
  • Minimum G class license
