Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist II to join our multidisciplinary rehabilitation team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our team, you will provide physiotherapy services to patients, including assessment, treatment planning, and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription, and education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide physiotherapy services to patients, including assessment, treatment planning, and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription, and education.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental and organizational policies and procedures.
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and education.
  • Provide work direction to rehabilitation assistants as needed.
Requirements
  • Current registration with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia (CPTBC).
  • One year of recent related experience.
  • Valid BC Driver's license where required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Teaching experience and ability to teach clients and others both one-on-one and in groups.
  • Knowledge of best practice and current research evidence to support professional practice decisions and actions.
  • Effective communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to integrate and evaluate pertinent data to problem-solve and make decisions effectively.
  • Leadership and management skills, including the ability to promote staff morale, engagement, and risk-taking.
