As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all shipments are handled with precision and adhere to strict regulatory guidelines. Your responsibilities will encompass supervising a small team, managing warehouse operations, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Handling & Logistics: Ensure the proper packaging of products to prevent damage during transit. Coordinate shipments to registered establishments in accordance with relevant regulations. Implement FIFO procedures and maintain accurate documentation for all outgoing and incoming shipments.
  • Team Leadership & Supervision: Provide guidance and direction to a team of warehouse personnel, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Delegate tasks effectively and monitor performance to ensure adherence to established standards.
  • Warehouse Management: Plan and organize warehouse activities to optimize space utilization and streamline workflow. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable food safety regulations and industry best practices. Conduct regular inspections of carriers and equipment to maintain high standards of hygiene and product integrity.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in shipping and receiving operations within a food processing environment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of food regulatory standards and safety procedures.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering clear and concise interactions with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making, addressing challenges promptly and efficiently.
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Forklift license required.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in relevant software applications.
