About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Darshan Singh Malik. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Household Management: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and meal preparation.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities such as conversation, reading, and watching movies.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by clients' healthcare providers.
  • Errands and Shopping: Assist clients with grocery shopping and other errands as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Work Setting: Employer's home.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, dependability, honesty, and a strong work ethic.
