Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2872670 ONTARIO INC. as a key member of our restaurant operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food quality meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff
    • Direct and supervise the activities of food service staff to ensure that they are meeting our high standards of quality and service.
    • Coordinate the preparation and serving of food and beverages to ensure that our customers receive prompt and courteous service.
  • Train and Develop Staff
    • Train new staff members in their job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and customer service standards.
    • Develop and implement training programs to improve staff performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that all food and beverages are prepared and served in a safe and sanitary manner.
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that our food meets our high standards.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies
    • Manage the inventory of food, beverages, and supplies to ensure that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
    • Order supplies and ingredients as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Prepare Reports and Budgets
    • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales, inventory, and customer satisfaction.
    • Prepare budgets and forecasts to ensure that our restaurant operations are financially sustainable.
  • Address Customer Complaints
    • Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints and concerns.
    • Work with customers to resolve issues and improve their overall experience.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Work Environment
    • Noisy work environment.
    • Exposure to odours and hot temperatures.
  • Work Setting
    • Fast-paced environment in a fast food outlet or concession.
  • Physical Capabilities
    • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
    • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Client focus and efficient interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent oral communication and flexibility.
    • Team player with a strong work ethic.
