Director of Marketing Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director of Marketing to join our team at Hariri Pontarini Architects. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive business growth and enhance our reputation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance our reputation, brand awareness, and market positioning.
  • Oversee and guide the development and execution of strategic communication plans, client relationship management, and proposal creation.
  • Collaborate with our Founding Partners to identify new business opportunities and establish marketing goals that support overall firm objectives.
  • Develop and execute media strategies in partnership with BD teams and key opinion leaders.
  • Supervise digital lead generation efforts, ensuring accurate tracking and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Sales teams to refine lead follow-up processes and search criteria based on feedback.
  • Manage relationships with external marketing vendors and key partners.
  • Assist senior management in tracking and analyzing digital marketing performance and KPIs.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to ensure we remain at the forefront of Canadian architecture.
  • Develop and maintain a strong network of industry contacts, fostering relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Oversee brand management, ensuring consistency in messaging, visual identity, and corporate values across all marketing and communication channels.
  • Analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, using data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Manage marketing budgets and resources effectively, ensuring optimal ROI on marketing investments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, MBA, or a related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on architecture or professional services industries.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive business growth.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide team members in achieving marketing objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry contacts.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems, marketing automation, and analytics tools.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and resources to maximize ROI.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • A passion for architecture and the professional services sector.

We offer a competitive salary range of $125,000-$140,000, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, employee referral bonuses, professional certification dues, and more.
