We are seeking a dedicated Childcare Specialist to provide nurturing and responsible care for children in a home environment. This role involves ensuring the well-being and development of children while maintaining a safe and organized household.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary school or equivalent experience is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in childcare is preferred, with a minimum of 1 month and up to 7 months of relevant experience.
- Non-smoking household.
- Accommodation may be available at no cost on a live-in basis, though this is not a condition of employment.
- Room and board will be provided.
- Take full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning tasks.
- Shop for groceries and household necessities.
- Manage laundry, including washing, ironing, and pressing clothing and linens.
- Discipline children in accordance with parental guidelines.
- Guide children in personal hygiene and social skills development.
- Ensure a safe and healthy living environment.
- Prepare and serve balanced meals.
- Supervise and care for children, attending to their emotional needs.
- Assist children with their homework.
- A criminal record check will be required.
- Public transportation options are accessible.
- Ability to handle weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
