Job Summary:

BrightPath Kids Canada is seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Early Childhood Educator to join our team as a Child Development Specialist. In this role, you will work closely with teachers and families to provide a nurturing environment for children in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a program that supports the development of children, aligned with BrightPath's curriculum.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment that protects the well-being of children.
  • Assess the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress with parents and other staff.
  • Establish collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
  • Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.

Requirements:

  • Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) with a valid membership in the Ontario College of ECE.
  • Meet the province's requirements for childcare employment.
  • Current Standard First Aid and infant child CPR certification.
  • Current immunization and health assessment as per the local Minister of Health Requirements.
