**Job Summary**

Manitoulin Transport is seeking a highly skilled Regional Garage Manager to oversee the maintenance and repair of our trucking fleet in the Quebec region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient repair and maintenance of our vehicles, while also managing budgets, implementing preventive maintenance programs, and enforcing safety standards.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Oversee a team of mechanics and ensure the timely and efficient repair and maintenance of our trucking fleet
* Manage budgets and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize vehicle performance
* Enforce safety standards and collaborate with other departments to support the company's transportation operations
* Work closely with local and remote operation teams to schedule equipment for service and repairs
* Provide guidance and approval to the maintenance team and Afterhours Breakdown Coordinators

**Requirements**

* Experience working in a Fleet environment with management experience
* Heavy Truck and Coach mechanic license (310T) preferred or College Degree in Business with heavy truck mechanical working knowledge
* Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills
* Excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel
* P&L and budget responsibility
* Strong industry knowledge
* Good organizational skills
* Strong creative thinking and problem-solving
* Ability to work under pressure and handle stress
* Bilingual in English/French
* Ability to travel
