Job Title: Seasonal Production Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Seasonal Production Lead to join our team in Montreal. As a Seasonal Production Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the Assembly & Packaging department's day-to-day workflow, ensuring the on-time production and assembly of kits, and verifying the quality of finished products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the Assembly & Packaging department's day-to-day workflow and assign tasks
  • Ensure the on-time production and assembly of kits on their assigned line to the established quality standards
  • Follow project instructions to closely ensure correct components are used
  • Perform tasks in a timely manner to meet and exceed department standards
  • Verify the quality of finished products
  • Ensure HACCP and SQF programs are implemented, maintained, and updated
  • Coach, support, train, and provide instruction to team members, ensuring that they have a clear understanding of requirements and expectations
  • Measure and report team performance based on established KPIs, update team with metrics, and drive productivity improvements
  • Promptly raise concerns and/or issues to the manager in a timely manner
  • Identify and communicate ways to improve productivity and efficiency
  • Work proactively to prevent any potential line shutdown
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a production lead role
  • High school education completed
  • Experience working in a warehouse in assembly and packaging
  • Team player that promotes a positive work environment
  • Bilingual (English-French)
  • Knowledge of standards: HACCP, SQF, GFSI
  • Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive and problem-solving skills
  • Great attention to detail and methodic
  • Strong work ethic and dependable
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with minimal supervision
