Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Seasonal Production Lead to join our team in Montreal. As a Seasonal Production Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the Assembly & Packaging department's day-to-day workflow, ensuring the on-time production and assembly of kits to established quality standards, and providing guidance and instruction to the Assembly & Packaging team.

Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the Assembly & Packaging department's day-to-day workflow and assigns tasks;
* Ensure the on-time production and assembly of kits on their assigned line to the established quality standards;
* Follow project instructions to closely ensure correct components are used;
* Perform tasks in a timely manner to meet and exceed department standards;
* Verify the quality of finished products;
* Ensure HACCP and SQF programs are implemented, maintained, and updated;
* Coach, support, train and provide instruction to team members, ensuring that they have a clear understanding of requirements and expectations;
* Measure and report team performance based on established KPIs, update team with metrics, and drive productivity improvements;
* Promptly raise concerns and/or issues to the manager in a timely manner;
* Identify and communicate ways to improve productivity and efficiency;
* Work proactively to prevent any potential line shutdown;

Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in a production lead role;
- High school education completed;
- Experience working in a warehouse in assembly and packaging;
- Team player that promotes a positive work environment;
- Bilingual (english - french)
- Knowledge of standards: HACCP, SQF, GFSI;
- Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment;
- Proactive and problem-solving skills;
- Great attention to detail and methodic;
- Strong work ethic and dependable;
- Demonstrated ability to work well with minimal supervision.
