About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Lanark Lifestyles Ltd. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to our clients in their homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily living activities: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other daily living activities to promote their independence and well-being.
  • Provide nursing care: Take clients' blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and assist with administering medications as required.
  • Support with mobility and transfers: Assist clients with walking, transferring, and positioning to prevent falls and promote mobility.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment: Clean and maintain clients' living areas, including bathrooms and kitchens, to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Communicate effectively: Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a strong commitment to providing high-quality care.
