About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Lanark Lifestyles Ltd. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to our clients in their homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as assisting with mobility and transfers.
  • Provide nursing care including taking vital signs, administering medications, and performing other tasks related to patient care and comfort.
  • Assist with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Transport clients to appointments and other destinations as needed.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, promoting their independence and well-being.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
