POSITION SUMMARY
As a Climate Control Equipment Technician, your primary responsibility will be to enhance customer satisfaction by conducting preventive maintenance and repairs on climate control systems. You will also be responsible for delivering and installing equipment efficiently to minimize downtime for our clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform necessary maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime.
- Dismantle, reassemble, and repair equipment as required.
- Deliver and install climate control equipment as needed.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with standard equipment.
- Fabricate parts when necessary.
- Conduct regular safety inspections on equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, whether in the service vehicle or at the shop.
- Adhere to all company and regulatory safety protocols.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Possession of a minimum Gas Technician G2 certificate.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in the field.
- Strong technical knowledge of propane and natural gas appliances, as well as equipment operations.
- Familiarity with oil-burning equipment is an asset; training will be provided.
- Willingness to obtain WHMIS and TDG certifications.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record and at least three years of driving experience.
- A DZ driver's license is an asset; training will be provided.
- Physical fitness to handle heavy lifting regularly.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using computers and mobile devices.
- Liquid propane fitter (LP certificate) and Construction Heater Service and Maintenance Technician 1 (CH-SM1 certificate) are assets; training will be provided.
