Job Summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team. As a Climate Control Service Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the proper functioning of our equipment and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on climate control equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Deliver and install climate control-related equipment as needed, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Diagnose and repair standard mechanical equipment problems, utilizing sound technical knowledge and expertise.
  • Fabricate parts as needed to support equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections on equipment and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Meet all company, governmental, and equipment-specific safety requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years' experience in a related field, with sound technical knowledge of propane/ng appliances, equipment, and plant operations.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean abstract.
  • Oil burning equipment knowledge is an asset, with a willingness to train and obtain WHMIS and TDG training/certification.
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects on a regular basis.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Knowledge and ability to use computers, specifically mobile computing devices.
  • Liquid propane fitter (LP certificate) and asset, willing to train.
