Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Duct Cleaning Masters. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance across our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Coordinate and oversee the daily activities of our cleaning team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Manage and receive payments for specialized cleaning jobs, ensuring accurate invoicing and timely payment.
  • Assist cleaning staff in performing their duties, providing guidance and support as needed.
Supervision:

You will be responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 people, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure they meet our high standards.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
  • Be physically demanding, requiring manual dexterity, standing for extended periods, and handling heavy loads.
  • Work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments.
Personal Suitability:
  • Excellent client focus and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent oral communication and flexibility.
  • Initiative and reliability in a dynamic work environment.
Experience:

7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in cleaning and maintenance operations.
