Position Overview
This role reports directly to the Senior Director of HR Business Partner, overseeing people and culture initiatives across multiple distribution centers in Ontario. You will be instrumental in designing and implementing strategic initiatives that align with our business objectives.
Your responsibilities will include identifying opportunities for Human Resources and organizational development, crafting solutions that address talent development, workforce planning, and performance management needs. You will utilize data-driven insights to evaluate your outcomes against our strategic goals.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in global organizations and demonstrate a passion for strategic design and high productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead strategic HR initiatives for the region, ensuring alignment with business priorities to maximize talent and optimize performance.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to leaders, providing support on various business-related challenges, including organizational design and change management.
- Establish strong partnerships with leaders and employees to address complex HR issues.
- Guide leaders in change management strategies for significant initiatives, acting as a change agent to enhance results while safeguarding employee experience.
- Oversee all HR activities to ensure the right talent is in place to meet business challenges.
- Facilitate succession planning and leadership development, assisting leaders in creating development opportunities for their teams.
- Leverage analytical insights to provide recommendations addressing people and culture gaps.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of environmental factors impacting the business, including HR legislation and best practices.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 4 years of professional experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar role within the supply chain, distribution, or logistics sector.
- A degree or diploma in business management or Human Resources.
- Strong business acumen with a global perspective.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on relationship building and change management.
- Outstanding analytical, project management, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Collaborative mindset, experienced in supporting stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
- Key competencies include collaboration, composure, execution, and follow-through.
