Job Summary

Friends of Ruby is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Counselor to join our team. As a key member of our counseling and case management team, you will play a vital role in supporting the mental health and well-being of 2SLGBTQIA+ youth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Collaborate with the Director of Mental Health and Youth Services to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote the success of our programs.
  • Team Support: Provide guidance and support to the counseling and case management teams, focusing on areas such as program development, service delivery, and quality improvement.
  • Community Engagement: Foster strong relationships with community partners and stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and programs that meet the needs of 2SLGBTQIA+ youth.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in a relevant field, such as counseling, social work, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership role, with a focus on counseling and case management.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
