Job Summary

Danfoss is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Sales Leader to lead our sales organization in Canada. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and executing a local sales strategy, and building a strong distribution partner network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive business growth in Canada, focusing on HVAC, Water, Oil & Gas, and Electrification in Energy & Marine.
  • Lead a high-performing sales team, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and partners to drive sales growth and expand our market presence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and sales plans to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to ensure Danfoss remains competitive and innovative.

Requirements

  • Graduate or postgraduate degree in business or a technical field.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in sales leadership, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong understanding of the Canadian market, including industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, distributors, and partners.
  • Fluency in both written and oral English and French is required.
