Position Overview:
In the role of Service Delivery Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of CLBC services within a designated area. Your leadership will ensure that eligible individuals and families receive goal-oriented support, and that services are aligned with CLBC policies. You will also ensure that comprehensive information regarding community living services and options is accessible to those in need through a dedicated team of professionals.
A key aspect of your role will be to guarantee the effective and responsible delivery of CLBC contracted services, ensuring they are consistent and adaptable to promote the safety and well-being of individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and guide a team of staff, including recruitment, training, performance management, and addressing labor relations matters.
- Assist Facilitators and Analysts in planning and implementing support for families.
- Oversee the contracting process with service agencies.
- Manage the contract lifecycle, including reviews, work plan development, and effectiveness assessments.
- Advance CLBC's initiatives towards reconciliation and collaboration with Indigenous organizations.
- Provide daily supervision, coaching, and support to facilitators and analysts.
- Help manage emerging issues between CLBC, service providers, and families, focusing on achieving optimal outcomes.
- Consult with Facilitators on complex planning matters involving individuals and families.
- Support relationship-building efforts among families, individuals, and service providers, enhancing individual capabilities.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or Business Administration/Commerce with a focus on human services, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of proven leadership experience, ideally in social services resource development and contract management within the community living sector.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
